Peel Ports unveils £60m expansion plan for Yarmouth

Peel Ports is pushing ahead with a major expansion of the Port of Great Yarmouth to support a wave of construction and energy infrastructure projects.

Plans have been lodged to deliver a new deep-water Southern Terminal at the Outer Harbour, including 350 metres of additional quay, a RoRo ramp, heavy lift pad and 10 hectares of reinforced storage space.

The port already plays a key role in delivering schemes such as Sizewell C and southern North Sea offshore wind developments, with demand surging from contractors and developers.
