ICC Incoterms® 2020 have been published! Incoterms are fundamental to international trade, providing a set of contract terms for international freight delivery. These clearly define the delivery point and the seller and buyers' responsibilities, risks and costs. First established in 1936, they are reviewed every 10 years and the new edition has now been published.
Using the wrong Incoterm® when trading goods worldwide exposes companies to greater risk and cost in the form of lost goods or unnecessary disputes, this is why it is so important to understand ICC Incoterms 2020® rules and use them correctly, so that companies can trade with one another safe in the knowledge they are following international best practice. Simple mistakes can be easily avoided if ICC's unique international expertise and resources are made accessible to, and utilised effectively by, businesses.
Our Incoterms® training course will explain all aspects of the topic including:
- What the Incoterms® rules are
- How Incoterms rules affect your business
- What you/your company needs to know about Incoterms
- Give a clear understanding of how Incoterms map out the tasks, costs and risks involved in the delivery of goods from sellers to buyers
- A practical guide to correctly applying Incoterms rules to your global sales and purchasing activities
Course Details:
This half day course will be delivered virtually (subject to change) with our trainer through Teams. We will send you the joining link, instructions, and your assessment to complete digitally in good time prior to the course date. The day will be broken up with plenty of comfort breaks and you will have ample time to ask all the questions you need.
Award details:
This course is BCC Accredited. You will be awarded the Full BCC Foundation Award in International Trade when you complete 6 of these courses. Courses are discounted when booking a 'Trade In 6' Package.
